Transponder and Distance Measuring Equipment

Introduction

The aim is to produce a hardware simulation of the Bendix/King KT 76C TSO Transponder and KN 62A DME.

Front Panel Design

In order to reduce cost and simplify construction and mounting, both units are to be built using a single front panel. The panel was designed using Front Panel Designer and fabricated by Schaeffer AG in Germany.
