PREFACE - THE PROBLEM:

Everyone that has ever owned a computer ,has probably spent some time tweaking & setting up his Bios. Some advanced users & overclockers ,spend even more time inside the bios always looking for the magic performance formula.

The Thing is ,Most Bios layouts & settings are usually based on very old designs & layouts, leaving a lot to be desired.

Some manufacturers ,like Abit for example, have tried to address the problem with friendlier & more complete layouts, but are still not perfect as you still have to jump between at least two different sections for RELATED options, that can be very confusing & cause a system to malfunction if the user forgets to give the related setting a visit in another section ,while visiting the current section.

Some Settings Are just plain misplaced ,while others have effect on Other Settings, that require the user to spend a lot more time learning how to set up his pc right ,& make a global understanding of the system settings a tough goal to achieve.

While All This Might Be Agreed Upon By Many Users, Coming Up with a Better Design ,That makes sense to new users ,as well as veterans ,proved to be harder then you think...

I Am Providing This Bios for you as an alternative - with all mentioned & many other issues taken care of & fixed.
After many hours working & testing so many ideas ,I have finally got something I am happy with,& I must say I am totally spoiled by it :)

The layout has been totally redesigned & all previous features has been added,These pictures present some of the options available on each M3NU ,not all.

I will walk you through them Left to Right:

The Overall Layout:

- The Left Side - is the HARDWARE SETUP side,& is the side that will ususally be used FREQUENTLY.

- The Right Side - is the BIOS setup side,& is the side that will be used INITIALLY ,when setting up the system, before OS installs etc.

The Bios Main Entries are Arranged in a way reflecting Frequency of access as first priority:

Every Cpu ,FSB Ram & Overclocking Setting is included in the HARDM3NU section:

The HARDM3NU Section is a single section containing ALL FSB CPU & RAM ,Multiplier And Voltage & Overclocking Related Settings !

No More Jumping Around & Lockups due to wrong settings EVER!

This Section is The heart of the HARDM3NU BIOS,& is totally unique to HARDM3NU.This section is arranged with clear labels for Group Settings For Cpu & Ram and is Probably where all overclockers Will spend most of their time.

It provides the easiest & most complete interface ever for all settings involved,& Gives a great representation of related settings like GLOBAL System performance, FSB & Ram & Voltage, when changing One might affect the Other,so having it all under one central control center makes it easy , clear,& helps avoiding lockups caused by misconfiguration / misrepresentation of the bios.

Hitting CTRL F1 before entering this menu (& others) when in main Bios window (the first thing you see when entering the Bios), will reveal more settings,& changing the global system performance setting will display how these relate to each other.
